Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) needed to modernize and unify inherited spatial datasets, documents, and workflows after being spun off from ADWEA. The company faced inaccurate and outdated data, including information stored on an old datum no longer widely used by other government agencies, which made coordination and operations inefficient. Rolta International provided GIS-based enterprise solutions, including clearance management, document management, CCTV, and an OnPoint™ GIS viewer.
Rolta International implemented GIS as the central platform connecting these applications, along with services such as capacity planning, land base studies, network re-alignment, and gap analysis. The result was significantly improved efficiency for ADSSC, with more current and accurately positioned data migrated to the WGS84 datum, making it easier to share and overlay with other agencies’ information. By putting geography at the center of processes, Rolta International helped streamline operations and improve accessibility across the organization.
