How Battle House Laser Tag Increased Average Cart Size with Upsells via ROLLER's Online Checkout

Battle House, a tactical laser tag venue group founded in 2014, wanted a simpler booking process and a better way to sell upgrade options. Its rigid booking flow made it harder to present upsells, and the company needed a system that could support six locations while still allowing local pricing and game formats. Battle House worked with Roller Software and used ROLLER’s online checkout and venue management platform.

ROLLER’s progressive checkout integrated upgrade options directly into the online booking flow, making it easier for guests to book and pay upfront for items like shotguns or snipers. Battle House said the platform increased upsells and average cart size, reduced customer confusion and manual intervention, and drove significant additional annual revenue per location. The system also helped standardize tools and processes across locations while giving managers flexibility for market-specific needs.
