ClimbZone, a family entertainment center with five locations across the US, switched from a server-based venue management platform to Roller Software’s cloud-based venue management platform in 2022. The previous system was built for climbing gyms and did not fit ClimbZone’s mix of attractions, and staff had to manually import online booking and waiver data each day before guests could check in.
With Roller Software, ClimbZone gained integrated waivers, capacity and resource management, and a simpler point-of-sale and check-in process. The company said payroll costs decreased by $15,000 a year, less staff were needed at the reception counter, and new employees could be trained in just a few hours, reducing training time and improving operational efficiency.
