Plexus Worldwide is a health and wellness company selling direct-to-consumer and through independent distributors (Plexus Ambassadors). With a complex JavaScript/Angular microservices stack and separate sales channels, Plexus was blind to critical in-production bugs that blocked Ambassador onboarding and customer checkouts, causing lost revenue and time-consuming incident triage.
Rollbar’s Continuous Code Improvement platform was rolled out as a proof of concept across core sites and then to 12 websites with Slack alerts, letting engineers detect and fix issues in minutes (including a vendor problem) and investigate per-user errors. As a result, defects dropped 40%, incident triage costs are estimated at up to $250K saved, customer support contacts related to web bugs declined, and teams gained much faster visibility and resolution of production issues.
