Schneider Electric UK wanted to build brand awareness and favourability among hard-to-reach streaming audiences, especially viewers who spend most of their time on subscription video on demand (SVOD) services. To reach these audiences in a bold new way, Schneider partnered with Roku and used The Roku Channel to connect with streamers who were unlikely to see their brand through traditional TV advertising.
Roku helped Schneider Electric create a TV Binge Brand Experience on The Roku Channel, complete with a branded microsite, curated content, and 100% share of ad inventory during the shows. By running native ads on the Roku home screen, Roku drove viewers into the experience and delivered strong results: 89% of reached audiences had streamed SVOD in the past 30 days, 21% had only watched SVOD, and ad recall increased 5x.
