How Filippo Berio Found the Best Streaming Customers

Filippo Berio, the heritage olive oil brand, wanted to increase consideration among health-conscious shoppers and reach new buyers at a regional level, especially people not already purchasing the brand. To do this, Filippo Berio partnered with Roku and agency Media Horizons to run a TV streaming advertising campaign using Roku’s audience data and Interactive TV ads.

Roku and Media Horizons used LiveRamp audience data to target competitive olive oil buyers while limiting delivery to existing Filippo Berio customers, and added interactive overlays showing the nearest store location to encourage action. The campaign delivered strong results, with Roku’s Interactive Ads outperforming benchmarks by 7x, driving a 4x lift in ad recall and an 11% increase in brand awareness among the exposed audience.
