Home Chef Drives +20% Increase in Sales Among New In-Store Buyers

Home Chef, a direct-to-consumer meal kit company, wanted to reach lapsed users, engage new customers, and better understand how advertising affected in-store sales. To do this, Home Chef partnered with Roku Advertising to identify and connect with shoppers likely to buy meal kits, using Roku Audiences alongside Kroger Precision Marketing data.

Roku Advertising combined Kroger shopper data with Roku Audiences to build a targeted audience and measure the impact of TV streaming ads on brick-and-mortar purchases. The campaign delivered a 2.4x attributable ROAS, a 9.5% incremental household lift among new buyers, and a 20.6% incremental sales lift among new buyers, while also increasing purchasing households by nearly 10%.
