Meetup, a platform for hosting and organizing group activities and events, wanted to grow revenue beyond its existing subscription business. To do that, it partnered with Rokt and used Rokt Ecommerce to monetize completed event RSVP activity with premium third-party offers.
Rokt helped Meetup launch a new RSVP confirmation page and use machine learning to deliver personalized offers from premium advertisers, simplifying the user journey and reducing confusion. The result was a 2x uplift in monthly revenue and an additional $78K in net profit for every 1M event RSVPs, after which Meetup rolled the experience out globally.
