Newegg, a leading global ecommerce retailer for consumer electronics, gaming devices, home appliances, and more, was facing rising customer acquisition costs, tightening margins, and pressure to deliver a seamless shopping experience. To find a way to generate incremental revenue without disrupting checkout, Newegg turned to Rokt and its Rokt Pay+ and Rokt Thanks products.
Rokt helped Newegg monetize the Payment and Confirmation pages by surfacing highly relevant payment and post-purchase offers in the Transaction Moment. The results were strong: Newegg saw $300k in average value earned per 1M transactions, $160k per 1M payment page transactions, a 5x increase in VPP, and an 82.7% uplift in total monthly revenue. When Newegg expanded offers to include cashback and rewards advertisers, VPP increased by 375% and overall VPT rose by 157% within two months.
