Fortuna, the largest Central European betting operator, wanted to grow new user acquisition around major sports events such as the Ice Hockey World Championship and the European Football Championship. To do this, they needed a way to keep ads relevant to rapidly changing match conditions and odds, while also improving the efficiency of their online promotion spend. ROI Hunter helped Fortuna use dynamic Facebook advertising for this challenge.
ROI Hunter created a custom product XML feed tied to Fortuna’s product catalog, allowing match data, team names, and odds to update automatically in real time. The campaign also used multiple dynamic post-match ad variations to reflect game outcomes immediately. The results were strong: Fortuna achieved up to 50% cheaper user acquisition, generated 33% more users than Google AdWords, and drove thousands of new registrations in the first two months.
