Simpel, a Dutch mobile virtual network operator offering SIM-only services, needed to deploy a high-availability, integrated self-service customer portal that coordinated multiple suppliers while improving change management and conversion rates. To build a scalable, responsive site and bridge disparate CRM, billing, telecom and subscriber systems, Simpel worked with Enrise and adopted Zend technologies from Rogue Wave Software (Zend Server, Apigility, Zend Framework).

Enrise implemented a business-logic layer using Rogue Wave Software’s Zend Server (job queuing, job rules, Z-Ray), Apigility APIs and Zend Framework to orchestrate data traffic, validate workflows, and automate deployments. The solution enabled suppliers to make their own changes, cut release cycle times for faster time to market, handled performance tests such as inserting 2,000 contracts, and delivered measurable results: serving more than half a million customers with zero incidents in the first year.
