Global Financial Services Company had one of the largest deployments of IBM WebSphere DataPower and needed a ready-to-use SOA governance solution to provide development- and run-time governance across departments, business partners and back-end systems. Rogue Wave Software was engaged to supply a unified solution using its Policy Manager and Repository Manager to automate lifecycle governance, policy authoring, and deployment to the customer’s DataPower appliances.

Rogue Wave Software implemented automated service and policy deployment, centralized monitoring and alerting, transaction auditing, real-time metrics, and DataPower clustering while integrating with IBM CICS/IMS, DB2, WebSphere and Microsoft .NET back ends. The result was true end-to-end SOA governance — faster, more consistent service rollouts, automated enforcement of security, auditing and routing policies, simplified management of appliance pools, and improved operational visibility and agility across the enterprise.
