CEFCU, a financial-services credit union, faced inconsistent programming languages and tools and needed better monitoring of production deployments. To modernize its web development, CEFCU partnered with Rogue Wave Software and adopted Zend Server, Z-Ray and Zend Framework while standardizing on PHP for internal applications.

Rogue Wave Software’s Zend platform delivered a consolidated, automated deployment pipeline (GIT + CI with Jenkins), one‑click rollbacks and improved troubleshooting with Z-Ray — reducing vendor API debugging time by roughly half. The results: growth from a single app to about 60–70 PHP applications deployed through Zend Server, streamlined releases, and a planned migration to PHP 7 in 2017.
