JWAVE provides Web-based Interactive Yield Analysis for IC Design House Engineering Data Analysis (EDA) System

ICSI (Integrated Circuit Solutions, Inc.), a fabless IC design company, needed to speed up slow, manual yield-analysis workflows that required downloading wafer acceptance test (WAT) and yield data for offline processing. To address this, ICSI engaged Rogue Wave Software and deployed JWAVE, a web-based engineering data analysis (EDA) solution that uses a Java-enabled, three-tier architecture for browser-based access and interactive visualization.

Rogue Wave Software implemented JWAVE to consolidate WAT, yield and FT data into a single, web-accessible environment with built-in statistical routines, interactive graphics and cross-analysis capabilities. As a result, ICSI engineers can run real-time analyses, identify accurate yield parameters to send to fabrication plants, and integrate the system with other e-systems—cutting analysis time by more than 50% and materially improving manufacturing efficiency.
