Integral Systems, a leading provider of satellite command-and-control and ground systems, faced the challenge of delivering robust, portable numerical analysis and visualization for its EPOCH 2000 Archive Browser Extractor (ABE) without incurring the time and expense of building custom tools. To solve this, Integral Systems adopted Rogue Wave Software's PV-WAVE and IMSL libraries to provide industry-standard, cross-platform analysis and graphics capabilities.

Rogue Wave Software’s PV-WAVE (with IMSL numerical routines) was implemented as ABE’s analysis and graphics engine, enabling automated off-line data processing, faster application development, and portability across UNIX, OpenVMS and Windows NT. The solution produced measurable time savings and cost reductions, led customers to purchase PV-WAVE development licenses to extend ABE, and helped EPOCH 2000 shorten deployment schedules and reduce program risk on missions such as NASA’s NEAR.
