Rogue Wave Software’s XRebel Local was run continuously in development to trace calls, surface SQL hotspots, and reveal hidden exceptions; it pinpointed a major exception source caused by an API disagreement with a business partner, helping Icon avoid potential data corruption and production downtime. As a result, the team fixed offending queries and logic before release, increased developer productivity and confidence, and now leaves XRebel Local running with no noticeable overhead to prevent future issues.
