CONFTEC is a seven‑person ISV based in Bad Homburg that builds high‑volume, web‑based retail and ERP applications for the jewelry market (clients include 123Gold and Acredo). Facing the need for an enterprise‑ready platform to rapidly develop and evolve a custom online retail platform and ERP, CONFTEC chose Rogue Wave Software, leveraging Zend Studio and Zend Server alongside PHP and MySQL to provide a stable, flexible foundation for its product configurator and end‑to‑end sales applications.

Rogue Wave Software’s Zend tools were deployed in identical development and production environments, giving CONFTEC better control, faster diagnostics (code tracing and detailed error messages), and fewer deployment issues. The solution supports more than 47,000 orders per year and about €55 million in annual turnover across nine+ countries (including 123Gold’s 600+ users and 52 stores), has sped development of new features like the 123Gold configurator, improved user experience, reduced downtime risk, and delivered a clear return on investment for CONFTEC.
