VIPO, a.s. Designs and Develops Comprehensive Automation Solution

VIPO, a Slovakian research, engineering, and manufacturing company, needed to develop a bead winding line for an Indian tyre manufacturer that specifically requested a migration to a Rockwell Automation-based control solution. Lacking in-house experience with Rockwell Automation technology, VIPO turned to Rockwell Automation’s Global Solutions team for technical support on the project.

Rockwell Automation designed and implemented a full automation and motion solution built around Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, PanelView Plus, PowerFlex 755, and Kinetix 6500 products. The result was a fully servo-driven system tailored to the end user’s production needs, with a complete migration from the previous automation platform, all deadlines met, and smoother implementation thanks to local engineering support and a single-company solution for the electrical portion of the line.
