Case Study: NAFTA achieves a company-wide standardized control solution with Rockwell Automation

NAFTA - Customer Case Study

NAFTA, a leading Slovak natural gas storage company, needed to replace its complex multi-vendor control and monitoring setup with a single, unified platform. Working with Rockwell Automation and its Allen-Bradley control and software portfolio, NAFTA sought a more standardized solution that would simplify programming, maintenance, and support across its widely distributed facilities.

Rockwell Automation implemented an integrated system using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix and GuardLogix PACs, PanelView Plus HMIs, and FactoryTalk software, all connected via EtherNet/IP over fibre optic lines. The result was a company-wide control standard with remote access and single-platform programming, while also making the system more flexible and easier to program and use than the previous vendor mix.
