Automatec, based in Lubin, Poland, specializes in industrial machine design and modernization across sectors such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and materials processing. For its GMP 22 compliant Interfold fabric processing machine, the company used Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley control technologies, including CompactLogix PACs and Kinetix 5500 servo drives, to manage complex cutting, folding, moistening, and stacking operations.

Rockwell Automation helped Automatec deliver a highly efficient, flexible, and modular machine with improved productivity, less waste, and easier cleaning. The integrated Allen-Bradley solution also simplified testing and validation through PackML support, reduced wiring, and enabled output of up to 200 packets per minute, while supporting UL-certified machines for North American and other markets.
