DG Christmas promotion generates 21% unique click through rate for Symantec using Rocketseed

Specialist Distribution Group (SDG), part of Europe’s largest independently owned IT group, needed a way to raise awareness among channel partners and increase engagement with the SDG and Symantec brands. To support this goal, SDG chose Rocketseed and its email header/banner promotion solution to drive traffic to a dedicated landing page with a strong marketing message and clear call to action.

Rocketseed implemented the campaign across a controlled group of senders and targeted recipient domains, applying the promotional header to SDG’s email traffic. The results were strong: the campaign generated a 21% unique click-through rate, 21,250 impressions, and a unique list of engaged customers, far above the 1–3% industry average for traditional email campaigns.
