Channel 5 use Rocketseed branding to promote the Big Brother launch and boost viewing figures

Channel 5, Britain’s fifth terrestrial broadcaster, secured the popular reality show Big Brother in April 2011 and aimed to maximize launch visibility and viewing figures across multiple channels. Channel 5 had already been using Rocketseed to brand employee emails since February 2006, sending an average of 90,000 branded emails per month to external contacts to promote programme launches and broadcast times.

Rocketseed implemented branded email banners for the Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother campaigns, running “Coming Soon” and “Every Night” promotions inside everyday business emails. Over August–October Rocketseed delivered around 15,000 banner impressions per month, providing wide digital exposure for the launches, and Channel 5 continues to rely on Rocketseed to integrate and amplify its programme marketing via staff email.
