SAP’s sales teams manage thousands of deals and respond to thousands of RFPs annually, but the global bid and proposal team couldn’t keep up while product offerings and content were constantly changing and stored across multiple systems. To address this capacity and compliance challenge, SAP’s engaged RocketDocs and its content-management products, including ResponseFull and SalesDocs (now upgraded to RapidDocs).

RocketDocs implemented a self-service platform combining ResponseFull with SalesDocs to automate much of the proposal process, enabling sales reps to assemble compliant proposals quickly. The result: proposal creation became roughly 3x faster—dropping from four to six hours to about ten to fifteen minutes—guaranteed compliance, and freed the sales team to focus on customers and new business.
