Scotiabank International Brings Structure and Repeatability to Its Change Processes

Scotiabank International needed a better way to standardize and document change management across its globally distributed IT operations. With no division-wide process in place, the bank struggled to create consistent approvals, maintain an audit trail, and share risk information across departments. Rocket Software provided the Rocket ALM suite, including Rocket Aldon Community Manager and Rocket Aldon Lifecycle Manager, to address these challenges.

Using Rocket Software’s solution, Scotiabank centralized change information, streamlined processes across multiple global sites, and added proactive problem detection. The tools were customized to fit existing workflows such as approvals, change requests, and issue tracking, and also automated deployment scheduling across sites. More than 1,000 users now manage change requests through the system, helping Scotiabank improve consistency, support compliance, and better control its IT lifecycle.
