Safety Insurance Relies on Rocket Modernization Solutions to Attract and Retain Millennial Employees

Safety Insurance, a property and casualty insurer, needed to reduce the complexity of its older IBM i green-screen applications so employees could complete policy renewals and claims work faster and easier. The company also wanted to retain Millennial employees without replacing its existing infrastructure, and turned to Rocket Software’s modernization solutions for help.

Rocket Software implemented Rocket® LegaSuite GUI and Rocket® API to create the “SEDonA” system, modernizing more than 800 green screens into a user-friendly interface and automating manual workflows. The results included a 75% decrease in renewal research time, a more efficient claims process, and growth to more than 33% Millennial employees, while also reducing training time for new hires.
