Modernizing UX & Reducing Mainframe Costs with Rocket® Mobius

Credit Agricole Group, through CA-GIP, needed to modernize its output management and reduce its mainframe footprint, which accounted for a large share of application assets and driving IBM-related costs. The company wanted a more distributed, less expensive architecture for critical banking document output, and turned to Rocket Software and its Rocket Mobius solution.

Rocket Software implemented Rocket Mobius in a Linux-based, containerized environment using Docker and Kubernetes, helping CA-GIP migrate mainframe reports and internal documents to a modern open platform. The project reduced output management solutions from five to three, improved user experience with modern interfaces, and is helping lower document production and distribution costs, with migrations already covering hundreds of GB to multiple TB across subsidiaries.
