Mainstream, a New Zealand freight and logistics company that grew from a virtual start-up into a multi-site operation, needed a way to replace paper-based processes and give customers and staff real-time access to quotes, consignments, labels, tracking, and proof of delivery. Using Rocket Software’s Rocket UniVerse platform, along with Rocket U2 REST and related MultiValue tools, Mainstream built custom freight and warehouse systems to support its expanding business without rewriting decades of embedded business logic.

Rocket Software helped Mainstream implement web- and tablet-based portals, APIs, and real-time warehouse and field updates, enabling automation, monitoring, and scalable hosted deployment through Rocket MVIS. The results included faster development, reduced manual data entry, improved system visibility, and support for more than 1,200 users per day, helping Mainstream grow from a single trade route to a multi-million-dollar integrated carrier.
