Global Human Resource Solutions Provider, a human-resources organization serving clients in over 100 countries, needed to keep critical payroll and benefits systems running reliably despite a small DBA team and more than 30 application databases across many Db2 subsystems. The company partnered with Rocket Software, using IBM Db2 Query Monitor for z/OS and IBM Db2 QMF to improve Db2 performance management and provide real-time analytics.

Rocket Software helped implement Query Monitor and QMF to identify poorly performing queries, streamline tuning, and deliver browser-based reports and dashboards for more than 400 users. As a result, investigation and resolution of Db2 performance issues dropped to less than a day on average, while the organization gained better visibility into performance, storage, and transaction data to support digital transformation goals.
