Fidelity Investments Speeds and Controls Change Management with a Single Click

Fidelity Investments, the world’s largest independent fund management organization, needed a better way to manage software change across an increasingly dispersed development team. Complex, time-consuming rollouts and limited process control for simultaneous releases made it difficult to keep multiple IBM i environments synchronized. Fidelity turned to Rocket Software and Rocket® Aldon Lifecycle Manager (IBM i Edition) to address these software change management challenges.

Rocket Software implemented automated deployment workflows that enabled Fidelity to distribute software with point-and-click control across its IBM i systems. The solution streamlined the change lifecycle, reduced errors, and accelerated delivery, while supporting multiple releases at once. Fidelity reported the ability to deploy to four or five IBM i machines at the click of a button and manage distribution from one host IBM i to seven remote machines, improving visibility and control across the process.
