The City of Cupertino engaged Rock Solid Technologies to modernize its 311 system and improve transparency. Cupertino faced limited resident visibility into service requests, poor integration with its Cityworks asset management system, and fragmented staff workflows (requests routed to personal inboxes), so the city sought a data-focused solution that would connect seamlessly with Cityworks and surface aggregate metrics for staff and the public.
Rock Solid Technologies implemented its OneView CRM platform with the OneLink mobile app, Cupertino Connect web/mobile portal, and APIs to enable two-way, real-time integration with Cityworks and Power BI dashboards. The rollout sped routing and resolution of requests, cut time staff spent pulling reports by making data available on-demand, improved resident communication and satisfaction via status updates and a public 311 dashboard, and reduced citizen complaints while simplifying field work.
