FlexRadio, a technology leader in shortwave radios, needed a better way to turn loyal fans into public advocates. Although customers knew the brand well, newcomers were comparing many models and brands, and FlexRadio’s supporters weren’t leaving enough reviews to help build trust or attract new buyers.

Rock Candy Media created a customer review strategy using a five-star graphic to route users based on their rating: four- and five-star customers were sent to leave a Google review, while three-star-or-lower responses went to a private feedback form. Rock Candy Media’s campaign reached 1,633 fans and generated 43 new Google reviews, five Facebook recommends, and 14 feedback forms, boosting social proof and improving FlexRadio’s search presence and conversion potential.
