Beyerdynamic, a German audio equipment manufacturer, faced the challenge of needing to increase its factory floor productivity by 50% within four years. This goal had to be achieved without expanding their production space, adding more staff, or compromising their high quality standards. They sought a stable automation solution from vendor Robotiq.

The solution implemented by Robotiq combined their Wrist Camera and 2-Finger Adaptive Grippers on a collaborative robot. This system enabled the robot to reliably pick and place loudspeakers regardless of their orientation. As a result, Beyerdynamic successfully doubled its production volume on the same floor space with the same number of employees, while also achieving a simultaneous increase in its quality index.
