BCE Consulting, a digital transformation consultancy, sought to automate a document processing workflow for their client Topicus and organizations in the preventive youth care sector. The manual task of transcribing emails into a child file application was time-consuming and prone to errors. BCE chose Robocorp for its consumption-based pricing and developer-oriented platform to build a solution for these smaller organizations.

Using Robocorp, BCE developed an unattended robot that processes emails, extracts data using AWS Textract, and automatically enters it into the Topicus application. This Robocorp solution achieved an 80% success rate, freeing up 80% of the service workers' time, which was reinvested into new projects. The automation also ensured 100% data availability, improved privacy by minimizing human handling of sensitive data, and eliminated processing delays.
