Case Study: Vickerstown Primary and Brambles Nursery School modernises its IT and improves teaching with RM Education

With a lack of investment in technology for a decade, this is how a community-based Primary School caught up and are now in a strong position to improve the education of all of their pupils

Vickerstown Primary and Brambles Nursery School worked with RM Education after a decade of very limited technology investment left the school with unsupported servers and devices, weak security, poor collaboration tools, and aging laptops that were slowing teaching and learning. The school needed a modern, affordable way to improve reliability, support remote working, and better serve its pupils, including those with additional needs.

RM Education replaced the school’s physical servers with a fully cloud-based setup, rolled out Microsoft Teams, RM Unify, secure filtering and monitoring, new rugged devices, wireless connectivity, and a simplified licensing and support model. RM Education also helped with training, grants, trade-in rebates, and fixed-cost budgeting over three years. The result was a more reliable, collaborative, and secure environment that supported remote learning during lockdown, reduced staff stress, improved communication, and gave the school a strong foundation for future improvement.
