Brockmoor Primary School, a community primary school in the West Midlands, was working to modernize its IT while dealing with staff who were hesitant about digital change, limited broadband capacity, and the pressures of pandemic disruption. With RM Education as its managed services partner, the school moved from an ageing on-premise server to SharePoint and then began exploring cloud tools such as Microsoft Teams to support collaboration and remote working.

RM Education helped Brockmoor Primary School roll out Microsoft Teams for staff and Google Classroom and G Suite for pupils, providing guidance, training and ongoing support throughout the transition. The school gained easier access to files from anywhere, improved collaboration across teams and year groups, and a more flexible remote learning setup that proved valuable during lockdown and self-isolation periods, although the school noted that staff confidence and skills still needed further development.
