Case Study: Norton Hill Primary School transforms learning with RM Education

Norton Hill Primary School, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, is a new free school serving a community with pockets of deprivation while rapidly growing to full capacity. As it opened during the COVID-19 pandemic and initially operated from temporary accommodation, it needed a technology partner that could help deliver reliable infrastructure, classroom AV, devices, and support for teaching and learning. RM Education was chosen because of its education expertise, long relationship with the Trust, and ability to support the school’s journey.

RM Education supplied and installed wired and wireless infrastructure, classroom AV, client devices, and STEM resources through RM Resources, while also helping the Trust plan and deliver its DfE-backed project. The solution enabled the school to open successfully, run daily online lessons during the pandemic, and move into a new building with technology that supports teaching, learning, and home access through Google Classroom and Chromebooks. The Trust reported smoother project delivery, quick resolution of issues, and stronger parent engagement, with a common platform helping support more consistent learning across its 27 schools.
