Transitioning to Remote Learning at the Constellation Trust

The Constellation Trust, a Hull-based academy trust with 10 schools, needed to rapidly adapt when the COVID-19 lockdown forced a sudden shift to remote learning and remote working. The trust had already modernized some of its devices and infrastructure with advice from RM Education, but staff still faced the challenge of moving classes, admin, and support services online almost overnight.

RM Education helped the trust transition from Zoom to Microsoft Teams for safer remote learning, while also supporting wider use of SharePoint and RM Unify single sign-on across the estate. With RM Education’s onsite and remote engineers, the trust rolled out Microsoft Teams quickly and kept support services running, helping staff move to cloud-based working and enabling a major leap forward in digital adoption in just five weeks.
