Robert Clack School of Science, a large secondary school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, needed a finance system that could support its growing multi-site operation and complex budgeting requirements. With over 2,000 pupils, an annual budget of £13.8m, and plans for further expansion, the school turned to RM Education and RM Finance to help keep track of spending, income, and financial responsibilities across the organisation.

RM Education implemented RM Finance across three separate instances to manage the school’s different business areas, including its commercial leisure centre, with easy switching between systems for staff. The cloud-based migration was straightforward, and new sales invoicing functionality reduced manual work and duplication. RM Finance has improved visibility of spend against budget, made reporting and bank reconciliation simpler, and given Emily Lines the ability to drill down to detailed financial information, helping the school manage finances with greater confidence and autonomy.
