Case Study: Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent boosts flexible cloud-based learning with RM Education

RM Education support Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent as they adopt cloud-based technology

Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent, part of the Co-operative Academies Trust, wanted to adopt cloud-based technology in a way that genuinely supported teaching and learning rather than disrupting it. Working with RM Education, the school needed a flexible approach to Google Classroom and related tools that would help staff build confidence, fit different subjects and exam requirements, and ensure all students could access learning resources fairly.

RM Education provided a managed service with on-site, remote, and network support, alongside training to help staff use Google tools in the ways that suited them best. The academy now uses a hybrid IT model, has 150 Chromebooks available as a shared resource, and has improved collaboration and efficiency, including saving time on weekly news bulletin production. RM Education also completed a major infrastructure upgrade over the summer, helping the school avoid disruption when Windows 7 and Server 2008 reached end of support.
