How The Ladies’ College delivered a successful transition to cloud-based technology

The Ladies’ College, a day school in St Peter Port, Guernsey, needed to replace ageing server infrastructure and move away from overloaded local shared drives to cloud-based file storage. The school wanted a better way to organise teaching resources, improve access for staff across subjects, and support its existing Microsoft-based environment, and it worked with RM Education and RM Unify as part of the transition.

RM Education helped The Ladies’ College implement SharePoint-based storage with consistent folder structures, single sign-on through RM Unify, managed devices with Autopilot and Intune, and support for Teams, Forms and other Microsoft 365 tools. The move improved permissions management, gave staff and students easier access to resources, enabled more electronic workflows and assessment, and reduced reliance on local storage, while also laying the groundwork for future automation with Microsoft Flows and chatbots.
