Case Study: Quarry Bank Primary School builds a connected remote learning community with RM Education

A RM Education Case Study

Preview of the Quarry Bank Primary School Case Study

How a Primary School in the heart of the West Midlands is committed to making the school, its staff, pupils, and their parents better appreciate the role of technology as they build for the future

Quarry Bank Primary School, a 1.5-form primary school in Dudley, had historically limited technology provision and some resistance to moving to cloud-based tools. When the pandemic forced remote learning, the school needed a way to communicate with pupils and parents, deliver lessons at home, and keep the school community connected. RM Education had already been supporting the school for more than 11 years with technical support and management of devices and infrastructure.

RM Education helped the school expand its use of Class Dojo, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, MS Stream, MS Forms, and additional hardware such as Chromebooks and visualisers, while also providing strategic advice and rapid technical support. This enabled Quarry Bank Primary School to deliver live and recorded lessons, share resources with all pupils, improve feedback, support wellbeing, and stay connected with families during lockdowns. The school reports stronger staff confidence in technology, better parent engagement, and a more resilient, future-focused approach to teaching and learning.
