Knowledge Schools Trust, a growing multi-school trust with a classical curriculum, needed to modernize an aging and unreliable IT estate that was no longer supporting teaching and learning effectively. Working with RM Education, the trust sought a strategic partner to help review its technology, plan for future growth, and improve the day-to-day experience for staff across its schools.

RM Education helped Knowledge Schools Trust refresh teacher laptops, move core services to the cloud, upgrade broadband, consolidate Microsoft tenancies, and roll out SharePoint and Teams to support collaboration and remote teaching. The trust also introduced a five-year refresh cycle and stronger backup and resilience practices after a ransomware attack. As a result, IT issues escalated to leadership fell by 80–90%, and staff now have technology that “just works,” giving them greater confidence and freeing them to focus on teaching.
