Trend Marketing, one of Canada’s largest footwear distributors, was struggling to keep pace with omnichannel demand after outgrowing a nine‑year‑old ERP. The fast‑growing DC needed real‑time inventory visibility for retail partners, tighter EDI connectivity, and far greater automation to eliminate double‑entry, reduce overtime, and speed order cycle times. To address this, Trend Marketing selected RLM Apparel Software and its cloud‑based enterprise suite, later adding RLM’s Enhanced WMS for deeper warehouse automation.

RLM Apparel Software implemented a full cloud ERP covering financials, warehousing and fulfillment (go‑live in January 2016) and rolled out RLM’s Enhanced WMS in 2017 with handheld scanning, automated stock locators, and tighter EDI and carrier (Purolator, Canada Post, UPS) integrations. The RLM solution eliminated duplicate work and manual invoicing, automatically applies landed costs, accelerated receiving, improved shipping accuracy, provided real‑time inventory visibility and automated customer notifications, and reduced IT maintenance while enabling easy 3PL scalability.
