A RLM Apparel Software Case Study
Proenza Schouler, the New York womenswear and accessories brand, was hindered by a fragmented, non‑fashion‑friendly software environment and outdated ERP and accounting systems. They engaged RLM Apparel Software to replace disparate tools with a fashion‑specific, fully integrated solution—covering PLM/PDM, Raw Materials, MRP, cloud ERP and accounting—to unify Design, Production, Merchandising, Sales, Logistics, Operations and Finance across their NYC and Italy offices.
RLM Apparel Software completed a fast, five‑month implementation deploying its PLM/PDM, Raw Materials and MRP modules, cloud ERP Business System and RLM Financials, plus integrations to six third‑party vendors (including Shopify POS, Savino Del Bene, Farfetch and retail EDI partners Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus). The result: about 70 users on a single platform, elimination of four separate software tools and a cloud hosting vendor, removal of third‑party financial reporting (and the associated full‑time reporting role), improved data‑processing efficiencies, and streamlined EDI and warehouse operations.
