Dawn Foods, Inc., a bakery ingredients and products manufacturer, needed to secure its business-to-business eCommerce platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The company engaged RKON, a Premier Google Cloud Consulting Partner, to perform a comprehensive security review of its Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and its GCP architecture to protect customer data and fortify its cloud environment against threats.

RKON conducted two collaborative assessments: a GCP security review and an SDLC secure architecture review. This process allowed RKON to provide Dawn Foods with tailored, actionable recommendations to shift security practices left in the development process. The results included immediate security enhancements and a strategic roadmap with short, medium, and long-term goals, leading to a more mature and secure GCP environment for the client's digital ordering system.
