Ministry of Justice UK - Customer Case Study

The UK Ministry of Justice, one of the country’s largest government departments with around 76,000 staff operating across 500 courts and 133 prisons, was undergoing major structural reform and facing a costly compensation culture. To reduce claims and better protect employees, prisoners and visitors, the Ministry needed a joined-up, organization-wide system to capture hazards, incidents and risks and drive timely safety improvements.

The Ministry implemented Rivo’s combined incident, risk and audit management platform across its estate, automating corrective and preventative actions and providing an intuitive interface for occasional users. Since deployment the MoJ has real-time visibility of trends and causation to immediately suppress risks, improved quality of incident data to better defend claims, assured cloud-hosted data security and high system availability.
