The Environment Agency, the UK public body responsible for environmental protection and managing flood risk with about 10,600 staff, faced intense scrutiny after the 2013–2014 floods. To improve safety, efficiency and resilience—and to embed passive design, operating and contingency plans—the EA needed an authority‑spanning platform to manage flood assets and ensure compliance across the organisation.
