Case Study: Gymlib Scales Data Pipelines and Cuts ETL Time with Rivery

A Rivery Case Study

Preview of the Gymlib Case Study

The operator of a sports and wellness marketplace app scales their data pipelines to support 10X more customers yielding 50X more data and saving thousands of dollars in analysts' costs

Gymlib, a French corporate wellness marketplace, needed to modernize its data operations as rapid growth during the pandemic caused its existing data processes to become slow, error-prone, and difficult to manage. Data preparation that once took hours began taking up to 15 hours, while inconsistent coverage and manual adjustments made it hard for a small team to support analytics and billing. Gymlib turned to Rivery and Amazon Redshift to find a simpler, more scalable data platform.

Rivery implemented a cloud-based data integration and orchestration solution that automated pipelines from seven key sources into Amazon Redshift, with support for custom APIs and reverse ETL back into HubSpot. The results were significant: Gymlib cut data integration time from 15 hours to 25 minutes, supported a 50X increase in data volume, reduced one accounting process from a full-time role to one day per month, and automated another financial process that saved three days per month. Rivery helped Gymlib scale efficiently while reducing manual work and infrastructure burden.
