Case Study: Lucy & Yak Achieves In-House Data Operations and Self-Service Analytics with Rivery

A Rivery Case Study

Preview of the Lucy & Yak Case Study

How Lucy & Yak use Rivery to move data management operations in-house without adding engineering headcount

Lucy & Yak, a sustainable fashion retailer based in the UK, needed a faster, more controlled way to manage data across eCommerce, inventory, customer reviews, and marketing. With only one data practitioner on staff and growing demands for reliable reporting, the team turned to Rivery for data ingestion and ELT, alongside Snowflake and Tableau, to replace a slow, contractor-dependent process.

Using Rivery, Lucy & Yak brought data integration in-house, built custom connections for sources like Peoplevox and Judge.me, and created a Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake (WSSI) tool to support inventory operations. Rivery helped cut data queries from minutes to seconds, reduced weekly manual validation work, and enabled the team to handle ad hoc data requests without adding a data engineer, while improving data accuracy and supporting self-service analytics.
