A Riverbed Case Study
Swiss Re, a global reinsurance and insurance group headquartered in Zurich with around 80 offices, was driving a digital workplace transformation to enable flexible, collaborative work across company and BYOD devices. To support frequent updates to Windows, Office 365 and business apps, IT needed to improve application performance, gain end-to-end visibility of the digital experience, and establish measurable performance baselines—requirements their existing monitoring tool could not meet or scale to address.
Swiss Re piloted Aternity End User Experience Monitoring across 1,500 devices and then expanded enterprise-wide, gaining real-time, end-to-end insights on any physical, virtual or mobile device. Aternity automatically generates granular baselines, isolates delays to client, network or back-end, sped up troubleshooting, exposed onboarding issues (not technical faults), and supported Office 365/Windows 10 rollouts—delivering improved productivity, accountability and efficiency that quickly justified the investment.
